The queen was dressed in a pale blue coat and hat and carried a cane. She also wore shaded glasses and seemed happy.
First, she appeared with the Duke of Kent, one of her royal cousins to take the salute for her troops. Then, she was joined by her extended family of “working royaltys” as 70 RAF aircraft roared overhead during the traditional Trooping Parade.

To commemorate the queen’s extraordinary 70 years of reign, fighter jets flew in formation.
The queen also “took the salute from the balcony” for the first-ever time as a stream of British soldiers, scarlet-clad, marched on horseback, passed below. Huge crowds of people cheered their love for their long-serving “Platinum King” and shouted support.
The queen and Prince Edward, Duke Of Kent, 86, shared the salute on the balcony. Both are descendents of King George V. They stood tall next to each other in their military uniforms.
