When Kiely rodni body and automobile were discovered in Prosser Creek Reservoir in Truckee, California, in August,
the two-week-long hunt for her came to a conclusion and garnered widespread media attention.
The Nevada County Sheriff’s Office coroners section determined that Kiely rodni drowned to death.
The sheriff’s office said in a message on Thursday that it “will always work with the family by analyzing any further information pertaining to this investigation.”
On August 6, kiely rodni vanished from a sizable gathering at the Prosser Family Campground. About two weeks later, on Aug. 21, a volunteer diving team called Adventures with Purpose discovered Rodni’s body inside her submerged automobile in Prosser Lake.

The car was dragged out of the reservoir and covered with tarps, as shown on footage from sister station KCRA.
According to the Nevada County sheriff-coroner, the 16-year-identity old’s was established by the autopsy results of the body removed from the reservoir on August 23.
At the time,kiely rodni family expressed their “everlasting gratitude” for everyone who supported them and assisted in many ways with the search.
The kiely rodni-Nieman family sent a message to friends, family, law enforcement, the media, and “our global community” saying, “While we accept this sadness cast under death’s shadow, the rising sun shines light upon us, reminding us not to mourn our loss, but to celebrate Kiely’s spirit and the gift that we all received in knowing her.” “kiely rodni will without a doubt stay with us even if we don’t get her back.”
Several people in the community attended the kiely rodni memorial service in September.
