In “Harry Potter,” Toby Jones performed the part of Dobby.
According to the New York Times, the conservation organization National Trust Wales has asked Harry Potter fans not to leave socks at the elf Dobby memorial house site at Freshwater West Beach in Pembrokeshire, Wales.
An eight-month site study was done by environmental specialists from the conservation charity National Trust Wales. They chose to permit the memorial to remain in place, but now there is a caution for admirers.
The National Trust Wales stated in a statement that “the tribute to Dobby will stay at Freshwater West in the immediate term for visitors to enjoy.” To help maintain the surrounding scenery, “The Trust is requesting visitors to the memorial to only take photos.”

“Items like socks, souvenirs, and paint chips from painted pebbles could enter the maritime environment and food chain and put wildlife at risk,” the National Trust Wales observed in its review conclusions.
Jonathan Hughes, a representative of National Trust Wales, continued, “While we’re thrilled that so many people want to visit, we have to balance the popularity of the site with impacts on the sensitive nature of the beach and wider environment, as well as pressure on the facilities and nearby roads.
