Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck secure the bunch in Vegas

The couple, who began dating in 2002 and then split for 17 years, and finally got married.

Superstar couple Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were married on the weekend according to a Clark County, Nevada, marriage certificate.

They had a relationship and then got married in the mid-2000s prior to falling out and going on seventeen years separated, renewed their relationship in the last year.

Lopez’s fan magazine the J Lo, on Sunday, said, “We did it.” They flew out into Vegas arriving at the church just after midnight, waiting in line along with the other four couples as per the report.

“Behind us, two men held hands and held each other. In front of us, a young couple who made the three-hour drive from Victorville on their daughter’s second birthday — all of us wanting the same thing — for the world to recognize us as partners and to declare our love to the world through the ancient and nearly universal symbol of marriage.”

The couple obtained the ceremony license for marriage in Clark County, Nevada, on the 16th of July as court records indicate. The license was granted by the court to Benjamin Geza Affleck and Jennifer Lopez.

“It was the best possible wedding we could have imagined,” the couple declared. “One we dreamed of long ago and one made real.”

“So with the best witnesses you could ever imagine, a dress from an old movie and a jacket from Ben’s closet, we read our own vows in the little chapel and gave one another the rings we’ll wear for the rest of our lives,” the letter said.

However, in 2004 Lopez declared that they had split.

The couple would continue to meet, and eventually, marry other famous people during the more than two decades that separated them. Lopez was married to the singer Marc Anthony in 2004. Affleck was married to the actress Jennifer Garner in 2005.

Both marriages ended in divorce after which Lopez got engaged to the former New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez in the year 2019 and Affleck was a fan of actress Ana de Armas. Both relationships ended in 2021.

On April 8th, Lopez announced she and Affleck were, again, in a relationship.

“Love is a great thing,” the couple wrote in the note on Sunday “may be the best thing that could happen worth waiting for. “

It’s signed by the author “With love, Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck.”
