The Basketball Wives star Brooke Bailey is lamenting the passing of her 25-year-old daughter Kayla.
The reality star posted pictures of her daughter in memory on Instagram to alert her followers of the tragedy.
“Pretty Black, aka Kayla Nicole Bailey, will always be my baby. This is not the end. Bailey captioned the collection of images, writing, “Mommy will see you soon.
Bailey has been repeating the kind messages she has received through her Instagram Stories. Bailey added a message of thanks for the outpouring of support besides those posts.
She stated in one of her Instagram Stories, “My baby child is very adored by all of you. “My family and I are so grateful for the unimaginable love and support we have received today.”
“If you had the privilege of meeting her and becoming friends with her she has permanently impacted your life,” she continued in a subsequent post.
“I’m grateful. Many people’s life was impacted by Kayla. A third post stated, “She entered the room and demanded respect, affection, and attention.

Bailey sent an emotional message on Instagram with the caption, “Our God! Our God is so Faithful. For days, I had been fasting and praying. I assumed it was for another purpose. God had been preparing me for this particular time in my life. However, I wasn’t ready. I am appreciative that he blessed me with having HIS child for 25 years. She needs to be loved, held, educated, and comforted. She was the source of my utmost joy.
In 2012, Brooke, who was romantically involved with former NBA players Rashard Lewis and Vernon Macklin, made her television debut on “Basketball Wives.” Soon after, Kayla became well-known for her job in the modeling industry.
In the 10th season of “Basketball Wives,” which debuted this past May, Brooke made a comeback.
