On October 13, Grace stated that she would be having surgery for an unspecified injury.
Grace was a member of the Performance Center class, which includes Roxanne Perez and Fallon Henley among others, and which was unveiled in March of last year.

On the April 26 episode of “NXT Level Up,” Grace defeated Amari Miller on her professional wrestling debut. She debuted on the May 10 episode of “NXT,” where she lost to Nikkita Lyons in the Women’s Breakout Tournament opening round. In July, Grace took part in a 20-woman fight royal for a chance to win the “NXT” Women’s Championship. Ultimately, Zoey Stark emerged victorious in the fight royal.
On the October 4 edition of “NXT Level Up,” Grace and Kiana James competed in their final match before she made her injury declaration. They lost against the tag team of Henley and Sol Ruca.
Santino Marella’s daughter Grace is a former WWE Intercontinental Champion. Marella described Grace’s first reporting to the WWE Performance Center as a “proud daddy moment” in response to the news. Prior to joining WWE, Grace studied biology at Western University and participated in judo and jiu-jitsu training.
