Recently, the actor who gave the slap seen around the globe paid a visit to the location where it all started for him.

Will Smith, an Academy Award winner and native of West Philadelphia, reportedly made an unexpected visit to his alma mater.

On Thursday, a video of Will Smith visiting Overbrook High School was shared on Instagram by the Philadelphia School District.

The A-list Hollywood celebrity can be seen in the footage walking down the corridor of his former school before entering a classroom and shocking the students.

Students studying digital media exhibit the finest reaction in the video, yelling with delight at the sight of the “Fresh Prince.”

Will Smith shook hands with the students and posed for pictures.

The school system reportedly shared images of Smith speaking in class, chatting with superintendent Dr. Tony Watlington, and perusing his old yearbook on its Facebook page.
